The annual Grant Family BBQ is Friday, May 15th from 5:30-7:30pm.  Please join the PTA for a BBQ and DJ on the Grant field. Bring blankets and/or chairs, but please no bikes, dogs or alcohol.  No charge - bring the whole family!  For any questions, contact Phoebe Ellis, Thank you Grant PTA!

8th Annual Westside Band Festival

Wed., April 15 - PHS Gym 7:00 PM - The music teachers have been busily planning this year’s Band Festival with the Petaluma High School and Junior High School music teachers.  Information letters have been sent home already inviting all band students to attend this exciting musical event. It will be a fun evening of band music, with all grade levels (4th-12th) participating in the Grand Finale. If you haven’t already done so, please return the bottom portion of the letter sent home with students indicating that you and your child will be able to attend.  We look forward to seeing you there! Grant Gear On-Campus Sales Ending But Apparel Still For Sale

With the last trimester of school in full swing, Grant gear sales will no longer be on campus on Thursdays. However, Grant gear can still be purchased. It’s just an email away. Contact  Lorna Wikstrom, Grant gear coordinator at to arrange your purchase. To supplement your Summer wardrobe, one final Grant gear sales table will be at the Grant Family BBQ  in May.

Hot Breakfast on Fridays

$1.75 - Fridays at Grant  - We are serving hot breakfast on Fridays starting at 7:45am in the multi.  Breakfast costs $1.75 and parents are welcome to dine with their student.  Breakfast is available everyday, but Fridays are something special and warm.  Students will be dismissed to the blacktop at 7:55or later (as they finish eating). has more info and all our menus.  You can even pay online! 

Auction Dinner Fundraiser Event

A beautiful evening to support education - Even more details (and maybe photos!) to follow, but it was a jolly generous night 

thanks to the Grant parent community that came out to Hermann Sons Hall this last Saturday. Others also warmly contributed if they couldn’t attend. Kudos and thanks are due all around, for the parents who spend many hours making this event happen, to all parent donors, to community donors, to staff who support our fundraising efforts. And, so, why care so much?! Because the highest quality education we can achieve for our children is that important.

Get Your Kids into Tennis! - Conference week early registration opportunity

For ages 10 and under, the “Quick Start” method Tennis camp at Grant will be available during Conference week, March 2 - 6, from 12:50pm-1:50pm. Cost is $60. Camp is limited to 12 kids. Adopt-A-Book – It’s on!

The Adopt-A-Book program is back and will be taking place from January 23 to February 20. This is a voluntary program that was created to help replenish our wonderful library with new books for the students to enjoy. Keep a look out for program details coming home soon in Friday folders.
