Join us in sharing the love of reading with our students at the Grant Scholastic Book Fair starting after school on Friday, Nov. 12th.

The following week, Nov. 15th through Nov. 18th, the book fair will be open from 8:30 to 1:30 p.m (except Monday the 15th to accommodate the music program, it will open after 10a.m.)  It is closed during the students’ lunch hour, 12-12-45 p.m.  Feel free to stop by and shop at a convenient time.

This year’s theme is “Heroes” in literature and in real life.  Each student’s class will be visiting the fair during one of their library times.

Wednesday Nov. 17th is “Heroes Day” at school.  All students are invited to dress as their favorite literary or real life hero.  The class with the highest percentage dressed as heroes will win an ice cream party courtesy of the Grant PTA!  That evening we will be having our annual Family Dessert Night from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. This fun evening offers the opportunity to shop for books, purchase Grant apparel, and support the sixth grade by purchasing baked goods.

**Extended Hours** On Friday, Nov 19th, will reopen during the Track Committee Pasta Feed from 5:30-7:00pm!  This is a great opportunity to come and share a pasta dinner and shop at the Book Fair!  You will be supporting two great causes at the same time.  Don’t forget that Pasta Feed tickets must be purchased by Tuesday, November 16th

The annual Book Fair is the major fundraiser for the library.  All money raised through the fair goes directly back to the Grant School Library.  We look forward to seeing you there!
