Grant Elementary School has the services of an elementary school counselor. Our counseling program provides support for children who are having difficulty adjusting to the school setting for a variety of reasons. Our school counselor meets with children in small groups and/or individually. If a child is referred to the school counselor, parent permission is sought before the counselor can begin to meet with a student. Our school counselor is also available to support parents whenever possible. In addition, our school counselor provides parent education opportunities throughout the year at scheduled PTA meetings.
