The Grant School library is available to all of the classes on a scheduled basis. Books are checked out on a weekly basis, and the parents pay for lost or damaged books. Students who would like can access the library during lunch recess. The collection contains approximately 5000 books, in the following categories: easy fiction, junior fiction, and non-fiction. In addition there are children's periodicals and reference books. The school library has student search engines and one computer with Internet capability. The library collection is provided from the following sources: Title IX (federal funds); district funds; Grant School PTA; Adopt-A-Book; and the annual Book Fair.
