The Student Study Team meets to discuss problems that might be interfering with an individual student's success in school. The object is to devise an action plan for alternate strategies to assist the child, his/her teacher, and parents. Parents are notified and invited to attend these meetings. They are usually attended by several teachers with whom the child has had contact, the school principal, and sometimes a school specialist who might be able to provide support.
